❤ PUPPIES BEING SHIPPED OR PICKED UP @ 11-12 WEEKS OF AGE CAN HAVE EARS CLIPPED FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $350 USD ❤
ALL PUPPIES AVAILABLE ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE
All of our puppies are sold as PETS ONLY with a spay/neuter contract. All puppies must be spayed/neutered by 6 Months of age and documentation must be sent to us varifying the procedure. In purchasing a puppy from us, you agree to enter a spay/neuter contract agreement. This means that you agree to spay/neuter the pup before six Months (6 Months) of age.
It is very important for breeding dogs to have a doucmented history of many generations of their ancestor’s health, temperament, and confirmation. We as breeders hand select which offspring we will use to breed based on the breed standards and temeraments. Breeding stock must be of appropriate age/weight, health, temperament and promote the same in their future offspring. In order to guarantee the success of the breed, it is crucial that only the best adult dogs be bred, resulting in exceptional puppies that will carry on the breed standards.
We have put many years of work in to the history, health and temperaments of our dogs and offspring. It is important for breeders to protect the integrity of their dogs/offspring. We do not promote “back yard breeding”. This is where someone just buys a dog and breeds it to “have a litter” or to obtain financial gain. Any breeder will tell you that many, many years of hard work are placed in breeding dogs, and that it is not for everyone. Therefore, most reputable breeders limit the registration of offspring to ensure the dogs are well cared for and that the breeding is done by the breeders and not the back yard people wanting to become a breeder. We do this so we can keep our lines clean and free of health issues, and to ensure that our offspring are well cared for.
If you are interested in breeding rights, for whatever the reason, please contact us with your information and reasons for wanting breeding rights, and we will discuss the reasons and options, and get back to you.
When to spay/neuter: Generally, this should be done when the puppy has reached at least 5-6 months for a female and 6-8 months for a male. The older the dog, the better it will be able to withstand the anesthesia. Your vet will be able to offer input about what he recommends. It must be done by six months of age though in order to stay in compliance with our spay/neuter contract.
Why spay/neuter: Fixing your dog prevents pregnancy and the birth of unwanted puppies. It avoids the need to restrain the dog during estrus. It keeps both sexes from roaming away from your house in search of a mate. It reduces the tendency of male dogs to urinate in the house. Additionally, it avoids reproductive-related problems such as tumors, pyrometra, false pregnancy, prostate infections, and reduces the risk of developing reproductive related cancers.
If you would like to know more, please read the contract below.

Permanent ownership of this dog is contingent upon your compliance with this Addendum. Proof of the
spay/neuter must be received by THE BREEDER within fourteen (14) days after the surgery. In the event
that the dog’s health does not allow this agreement to be honored, HEART OF TOYS must be
provided with a statement from your veterinarian that this dog is not yet in physical or emotional
condition for surgery. Based upon the veterinarian’s evaluation of this dog the (purchaser) will contact
the veterinarian and establish the earliest date that the procedure can be performed. (PURCHASER) will
notify the BREEDER of this amendment in writing, at which time all other conditions of this agreement
will apply and be enforced.
This is the responsibility of the PURCHASER, not the veterinarian, to ensure that HEART OF TOYS
has received verification that the surgery has been performed. A copy of the medical record as well as
the receipt is necessary verification along with the veterinarian’s phone number to follow up about
procedure. Failure to comply with this agreement by the date below, unless otherwise agreed to in
writing, will be considered a breach of the Contract, and PURCHASER will transport this dog back to
HEART OF TOYS and will not be entitled to a refund.
In the case of the puppy’s demise on or before the above listed date, a written statement from your
veterinarian must be sent to HEART OF TOYS, stating that the puppy has indeed passed away, and
the cause of death. This is an unfortunate step but necessary. PURCHASER will also be fined $1,000, the
difference between pet price and breeding price.
In a perfect world, we would like to have each puppy we place to stay in their original purchasing home.
Things do happen, and should you need to transfer ownership before spay/neuter has been performed,
you agree to contact HEART OF TOYS, in writing, phone or email and let us know BEFORE the
puppy has been placed into a new home. We require a right of first return or reclamation, that the
puppy be returned to us if you cannot keep him or her. You are not free to give the puppy away to
another family member or anyone without receiving permission from us first.
If you decide to go ahead and give the puppy to someone without contacting HEART OF TOYS, this
contract is still your responsibility to enforce in the puppy’s new home. Should we not receive
conformation of the puppy’s spaying or neutering by the above listed age, as the original purchaser, you
will then be liable for the dog’s full purchase breeding value, which is $1,000 more than the pet price.
By my signature below, I agree to have this dog spayed/neutered by the age of
SIX MONTHS (6 MONTHS)
and I understand that this spay/neuter agreement is an
agreement that this dog will not produce a litter of puppies either as purposely
bred or by accidental breeding. I also agree that should puppy not be
SPAYED/NUETERED that I will return said puppy back to the seller/breeder with

AKC Veterinary Network Certificate Program
Certificate Program OverviewThe American Kennel Club realizes it takes a lot of time and research to select the right dog for your family. And the decisions do not stop once your dog comes home. Now you have to start your new addition on training, nutrition and health programs. The AKC would like to make your job a little easier.
Newly registered or listed AKC dogs receive a certificate for a complimentary veterinary office visit through the AKC Veterinary Network Certificate Program.
These certificates may be redeemed with one of the practices participating in the AKC Veterinary Network. These veterinarians receive the latest information on canine health research from AKC. They also are a resource for AKC materials on many helpful topics, including training, breeding, competitive events, the AKC Reunite lost and found recovery program and pet health insurance.
To receive a certificate, just submit your e-mail address when you register your dog with the AKC – either on the on-line or paper registration applications. You soon will receive an on-line certificate. A list of participating veterinarians in your area will accompany the certificate – and a complete list is available on this website.
Please present the certificate before the office visit. You may redeem the certificate for 60 days from the date of the puppy’s registration. The certificate is good for the first office visit and does not include vaccinations, X-rays, medical procedures or medications. Eligible dogs are those being registered for the first time with AKC or recorded for the first time with FSS (Foundation Stock Services) or listed with AKC Canine Partners.
As a special registration benefit, the AKC has arranged 30 days of pet insurance coverage through AKC Pet Insurance* for newly registered dogs. Details about this special complimentary benefit will be sent to you shortly after registration.
The AKC cares about you and your new dog and hopes your new companion enjoys a long healthy life. Please consider us a resource and refer to our website for the many other benefits AKC offers its owners of registered dogs.
